Short answers to what people ask most. If yours is not here, tell us what happened.
Sign in with your Google account. The first time you sign in, your account is created; there is no separate sign-up and no password to remember.
Opened this site from TikTok, Instagram or another app? Google does not allow its sign-in inside other apps’ built-in browsers, so the button may do nothing or show an error. Use that app’s menu to open the page in Safari or Chrome, then sign in there.

Ask a question, choose who sits at the table — one figure for a direct conversation, or up to all nine — and convene. Everyone at the table receives the same question and any background you add. Your first council is free and needs no card.
Before speaking, each figure consults a private library of their own sources, and only one speaks at a time. The first words usually arrive within a minute, and further contributions follow every half minute or so. A figure with nothing to add stays silent, so not everyone speaks in every round.
You do not have to keep the page open. A council carries on without you and is saved in your history, where you can return to it.
Write in the box at the bottom of the council and choose whether you are speaking to everyone or to one figure. What you say is heard by the whole table. You can pause a council, resume it, or end it at any time with the buttons beside the table.
Every council is saved to your history. From a council you can export the transcript as a text document or as data (JSON). From your history you can rename or delete a council. From your account you can download everything we hold about you, or delete your account and all of it.
Your councils are private to your account. They are never published and never used in our public episodes. To generate the replies, your words are processed by OpenAI; under its API terms that data is not used to train its models by default. The privacy notice has the details.
The figures are AI portrayals, not the people themselves. They speak newly generated words — never authentic quotations — and they do not speak for any community, tradition or faith. Generated words can be mistaken; treat a council as a thoughtful conversation, not as fact or advice.
If a figure says something that is out of character, gets the record wrong or is offensive, press Report under that line. You can read how the figures are made and what they are built from.
Memberships are not open yet. Your free council stays in your history, where you can read and export it. The membership page shows what a membership will include.
The High Council is a historical simulation. It is not a crisis service and cannot help in an emergency. If you are in immediate danger, call your local emergency number. If you are struggling, people are there at any hour:
